When i first viewed Andreas's work I thought 'is this guy crazy or what', I like his photographs because of all the amazing landscapes and architecture photographs he had took.
The landscape one with the little island is very beutifull i don't know how hw had took this the place would problaby u can't find it on a map, they look like the little island's of the coast of Thailand they look beautiful.
The bottom pic confuses me, Andreas favourite piece it combines the 3 elements together(Water, Earth, and Air) in my opinion i think is a good idea to have in a photograph.
I like how this photo turned out the land in the foreground then the water, land in the distance and the sky thurther in the distance, i thought that piece was a painting when I first look at it.

7. Ansel Adams

ansel-adams-road-nevada-desert-1960.jpg http://www.cclarkchemistry.com/ansel_adams.jpg Ansel Adams (Febraury 20, 1902- April 22, 1984) was a famous photogropher in America for his Landscapes photos, he liked to take picture of National Parks and other western things like the Grand Canyon.

I have fallen in love with his Landscape photo that shows the trail of mountains in the distance with the moon in the sky, it makes me want to go there in the near future to check the place out, he had taken the photo in black and white which in my opinion is lovely the smoothnes of the two opposites come together. I find that coloured photos are too 'much' and black and white is simple and effective.

His rose against the wooden plank is beautiful I would like to have that on my kitchen wall in a big canvas it is a lovely piece it shows the softnes of the rose petals like u can touch them and pluck them out. The shading is lovely perhaps in colour it was a white rose he used but taking it in black and white was a good idea it shows the inner depth of this rose. The road photo is cool i only seen these kind of roads in movies but looking at this photo makes me want to stand in the middle of that road when the photo was taken the road seems endles and it can go on forever and ever never stops.

8. Kyffin Williams

Kyffin Williams style of painting is slab random sploshes of paints on with oil paints, his works are mostly from looking at Mountains regions and lonely farm houses on distance hills. I like the quirks of Kyffin's paintings all the earthy colours combine together to match his theme, also his life drawings are quick sketches the one of a horse above shows that Kyffin has capture its movements.
To me Kyffin was interest in the mountains of Snowdonia, North Wales for his paintings and rocky beaches, his Snowdon painting above is my favourite it shows that mountains are dangerous at night and it looks like it is raining heavily with gales and the little man in the painting trying to go home through the storm, Kyffin died in 2006 but his paintings are still coming strong.

9. Katsushika Hokusai

File:Carp leaping up a cascade.jpgFile:Hokusai-fuji-koryuu.png http://lh5.ggpht.com/splashing/RnBxeQSvGuI/AAAAAAAABCA/c6X_Es7ZygI/s288/800px-Tsunami_by_hokusai_19th_century.jpg Katsushika Hokusai (葛飾 北斎, October or November 1760 – May 10, 1849) is a Japanese artist from the Edo Period of Japan, he was known as the author of the woodblock print series 'Thirty-Six Views Of Mount Fuji (富嶽三十六景 Fugaku Sanjūroku-kei, . 1831).
His works including his famoue piece 'The great Wave of Kanagawa' with the view of Mt Fuji in the Distance, his other works including 'Dragon Of Smoke Escaping from Mt Fuji', which is my favourite piece of work he had done and the great wave comes second as my favourite piece. I really like the carp jumping up the cascade waterfall the scales on the carp looks like actuall scales but they were made by wood cutting.
Hokusai means 'North Studio' because of his artistic skills he is a buddist so looking at the North Star as associated as the diety Myoken (妙見菩薩), Mt Fuji has been traditionally linked with eternal life This belief can be traced to Tale of the Banboo Cutter where a goddess deposits the elixir of life on the peak.
I like Hokusai's work it is quirky and lively as you can see the picture come alive as you look at it and the great wave is popular today as it was hin Hokusai's era. I cvan feel that the fishermen in this piece frightend of the big wave but they are brave risking their lives for feeding their family.
